This has turned into a b*tch Fest. you are all forgetting that Christmas is a time to come together and enjoy spending time with your nearest and dearest. Children who beleive in Santa Clause do not regret beleiving when they are older and know the truth but it just leaves them with Beautiful memories that they will no doubt pass on to thier children and carry out the same traditions. My son is 8 years old and still believes. even more so that he had his very own video call all the way from the north pole from Santa Himself! Grow up and stop being do pathetic. Bahh Humbug, shame on you!

I've been writing newsletters since 1999. In 2007, because of the "007", I wrote a newsletter with a James Bond theme, using each Bond film title in the newsletter. In 2009, I wrote a newsletter from the perspective of Sarah Palin, which many people found hilarious (my most popular newsletter ever). This year, because I work for a music company, I decided to go with a "Billboard Top 20 Singles" chart, using real song titles to prompt a short paragraph / couple sentences about an event in my life.

Some newsletters I love was a rare one by a good friend of mine, who simply wrote 10 news headlines (he's a journalism professor). I was stunned how much he was able to convey (and hilarious!) with a short headline. Each year, though, another friend of mine beats all the others. Not only is he laugh out loud funny, but creative, as well. He has written from the perspective of his not yet born son, a gratitude newsletter, newspaper style, and even a missing person's bulletin (when they moved). I always eagerly await his newsletter each year!

I already have next year's newsletter theme in mind. Can't wait to write it!

Last year I wrote a letter authored by our pets. My daughters guinea pigs told about things they did in her room while she was gone that told about her...ie, they played with her soccer ball and wore her girl scout sash...the dog told about my son's comings and goings for football and hunting, etc....

Thank you to those of you who had such nice things to say about me. My number one goal is and always has been to put that special sparkle in a childs eyes. As long as you beleive, then i will have succeeded in making so many children happy, and as long as that occures, then that sparkle will never dim! "MERRY CHRISTMAS" and God Bless. S.C.

HI Diane,
Without additional details, I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to see the blue border after saving this template. I'd suggest downloading the original document again and saving it to your hard drive, and then using "Save As" to save another version that you can edit. That way, if you make a mistake while editing, you still have the original you can use again.

I have two little nephews that I love a bunch. My kids are older, 18, 19 and twin boys that are 14. I plan on writing a letter from Santa to my two little nephews and mailing it to them at my parents house where they live with their mom. I can already see it when I go to visit, the youngest one is 4 and has just finally started talking to me when I walk through the door instead of running and hiding under the table. I can hear him now, "Auntie Jen, Santa wrote me a letter! Want to see it!" He already read me a pumpking paper book for halloween. It's going to be so nice and touching to see their faces and brag about their letter from Santa. My kids are at the age they don't believe anymore, but you know what, they still get presents from Santa! lol

To all of you that keep hating on 'Emily' that isn't fair she can believe what she wants to. I sort of agree. When I was a kid my parents, never, ever sent me letters from 'Santa' but somehow the cookies, carrot and Brandy was gone. I used to be convinced that my parents had eaten and drank the stuff. On night I stayed up and my parents never opened their bedroom door. who knows.... maybe 'Emily' is right.
